Bangkok Trip - Post 1

Day one in BKK- 26th of Feb 2014

We met at LCCT by 9.30 today.
We were taking Air Asia flight to Don Mueang, Bangkok.
The air ticket was 308MYR for one.
I went to LCCT from KL (Was thinking to go from Sepang)
It's good to meet up with Joanne and Cheesy as well as another two fellas.
I haven't met Cheesy since December '13.
The plane took off at 11.45am sharp.
Thanks god there's no delay.

The boarding passes

The estimation of arrival to Bangkok Airport was not far off.
We quickly looked up those car rental booths for survey.
We wanted to get a transportation from airport to Hua Hin City, Cha-am.
It took our precious 2 hours to find out transport
We paid 7200 Baht for the ride from Airport > Hua Hin & Hua Hin > Bangkok Town.
Each of us had to pay 1440 Baht
Apparently we were being ripped off by them.
We couldn't do anything because its hardly to get transport to Hua Hin.

The driver of the mini van was an auntie.
She was friendly and she was a great talker.
Luckily she's able to speak English as we can't speak their local language.
Aaron talked about their politics while we were on the way to Hua Hin.
This topic was so boring.
Girls aren't interested to politics issues, as always.
=P

The journey needed 3 hours.
We took away Samurai Pork burger from the nearby Mc Donald.
After that,
we were taking nap instead of chit-chatting.
We checked-in the room once we arrived our destination.

We've chosen the hotel that is near to Cha-am Beach.
Joanne Cheesy and I were sharing a room while Benson and Aaron were sharing another room.
The room was big and nice.
It can fit 6 person I guess.
Heeee.
This is the view from the balcony of our hotel room
We were so closed to the blue ocean.

We got ourselves prepared and off to Santorini Park.
We paid extra to the van auntie for the additional services.
Santorini Park and Swiss Sheep Farm were the reasons that we wanted to come to Hua Hin.
The two parks were worthwhile though.
The photo that taken by the van auntie.

Santorini Park is an amusement park and shopping outlet with Greek architecture.
This was an ideal place for photography.
:D
Definitely it's a paradise for girls.
We snapped a few of nice photographs at here.

The Honey green tea toast

Don't you think it' tempting?
Slurp slurp slurp.
Ohnomnommmmmm

We left Santorini Park by 7.30pm.
We went to Hua Hin night market after this.
This place was suggested by the van auntie.
We walked around at pm for about 2.5 hours.
We had our dinner at one of Thai restaurant at the street of night market.
I've forgotten its name.
:P

The tired faces

We bought few bottles of beers from 7 eleven.
We went to guy's room for 'self-disclosure' session.
It may sounds a bit wrong but it's nothing about illegal activities.
LMAO.
Literally it's a real talk session.
Heeeeeeeeee.

The naked faces with pyjamas on
So so so so so ugly.

MIFF -5 days of working

MATRADE Exhibition & Convention Centre
4th of March - 8th of March 2014

I came back to Malaysia from Bangkok on 3rd of March.
I was coming back to KL at the night before the MIFF fair started.
(Malaysian International Furniture Fair- MIFF)
I prepared the formal attires for these five working days.
I borrowed the blazer from Fung Jie Jie.
Heeeee
I did not have time to get a new one.
:P

I was arranged to work at main registration counter.
I was in charged of pre-registered buyers with Ai Jia and Vicky.
It was great to work with them.
There's no pressure and attempt while working with two of them.
This would be a nice working experience to me.
Cooperation equals success.
And I found the importance of good teamwork.

Thanks to Vicky and Ai Jia for fitting in with me.
Hence,
I had the chance to have the same break time with Jian Yi even though we're working in different position.
So nice of them.
:D

MECC was quite far away from Cheras.
Jian and I took LRT train to PWTC and then, took the shuttle bus to MECC.
We needed to be at PWTC by 8 o'clock sharp every morning.
D:
It's tiring weh.
I didn't get enough of sleeping every day.
:/

Most of the temp staffs are younger than us.
I have to admit that the age of 20 is old.
Yes, absolutely it is.
Sob.
60% of them are SPM leavers.

Ready for BKK :)

I'll be off to Bangkok with Taylor's friends after two days.
Woohooooo.
Can't wait for my first trip during these three months break.
Is Bangkok safe now?

Political demonstrations continue in and around Bangkok and elsewhere in Thailand in early February.
Those rioter were wild.
It made a sensation as well as drew the attention of people.

I'm not sure about the current security situation in BKK.
I didn't read newspaper so I had no idea at all.
Anybody has any idea?
Somebody please update me if you know anything
=P

Friends started to anxious their safety while traveling in BKK
These are all reasonable worries though.
Fear not!
It would be all right.
I hope so D:
