Penang Trip

Penang Road Trip Day One- 22nd of July

It would be a simple post.

Sorry for my laziness.
I got up at 5.45 o'clock this morning.
The meeting time is before 7am.
As you all know, I'm a late queen
:P
But I managed to be at Taylor's on time.
Let's clap for me.
Heeee
We departed after everyone got there.
Benson, Lucas and Aaron are the drivers.
We met up with Aaron at Rawang R&R.

We stopped for short break after we passed the Ipoh toll station.
Lucas emphasised the importance of careful driving.
He drove at the speed of 120km/j from KL to Ipoh.
What a careful driver !
=D
Look at my driver.
He drove extremely fast with Aaron.
Ain't sure whether they're racing or not.

Near to 200km/j

The first stop, Ipoh Famous Kopitiam.
I've had Ipoh Hor Fun for my breakfast.
It was my first meal of the day.
Around 12, directly after we resumed our journey.
We took 1.5 hours to get to our destination.
We were taking the new bridge whereas others are taking the old one.
The new bridge shortened the trip, I assumed.

We checked in hotel once we arrived.
B-Suites Hotel is near to the new bridge and airport.
The hotel room is extremely big.
10 of us divided into 3 rooms.
-(Cheesy, Joanne and I are in a room),
-(Alexis, May and Ling are in a room),
-(Benson, Aaron, Lucas and Boon are in a room).
We rested for a while and then getting ready for foods hunting.
TeeHee :D

The second stop, Asam laksa at Pasar Ayer Itam.
Unluckily it's not opening today.
D:
We could see many recommendations of this stall from bloggers.
We could't afford to miss a chance to attempt to this.
:P

Mua-chi

Siew Pao
We went to Georgetown afterwards.
Gurney Plaza > Gurney Drive > Beach
Gurney Drive is a deluge of hawker delights and exciting restaurants that come alive at nighttime, giving the unique experience of dining by the sea.

Fried osyter
Char Koay Teow

Coconut
Asam laksa

Look so yummy

Fruits rojak
Portugese fish
Loh Bak

We walked around by the sea after the heavy dinner.
I'm bloated
:P
I don't even dare to weight myself after I'm back to KL.
The number is going to be scary.
:/
We planned a simple birthday celebration for Lexi at Gurney beach.
May Joanne and Cheesy went to Gurney Plaza to buy Squiddo and birthday cake.
The rest of us are staying at the beach.

We returned to hotel to freshen up.
We went to guy's room for 'self-disclosure' session.
Before they began with drinking, we planned for the next day's schedule.
Have fun with them tonight
:)

30 hour famine - KICK OUT HUNGER

30 hour Famine- 19th-20th of July 2014

Jian, Kei and I participated the MYFM Famine camp.
There're only three of us are free for this event this year.
Laine and Yan chose to ffk us
D:

The MYFM Camp was taking place at SJK(C) Salak South.
We gathered at Cempaka LRT Station by 8am.
We went to mamak for breakfast.
Nasi Lemak is the only food can keep the hunger away longer.
Lol.
We had Roti Canai as well to make sure that hunger won't strike us.
I don't like to be starved but the challenge is accepted.

A few series of games are conducted to deliver the messages of the theme of Famine 30.
Those games helped to distract ourselves from remembering we were actually starving.
To be honest, I couldn't stop from thinking about foods.
I was so hungry all the time.
Yes, for the 30 hours.
:/

The camp prepared a mini concert for the campers.
Most of the MyFm singers would be the performers.
Alvin, Ma Jia Xuan, Joe, Chen Wei Quan and Ke Qing are the performers.
It was a great session for kicking out the hunger

Our emcee

Day 2.
We reached the Bukit Jalil Putra Indoor Stadium by 9 o'clock.
This was the crowd in the stadium.
A few of performances are holding there.

We went to Sri Petaling for the first meal after 30 hour of hunger.
We've chosen steamboat for our 'buka puasa' meal
:)
Guess I'm not young anymore.
I can't really enjoy myself while I'm starving.
It's quite suffering.
